The joint effort between sport, fashion and fabrics
Andrea Folgosa Martì was born in Spain and lives in Italy. She has formed herself along the cultural and industrial axis Barcellona – Milano, that vector of creativity and production that drives talent to become enterprise. The exclusive relationship with fabrics is the key which characterizes the product lines created by the Catalan stylist.
Always a sportswoman, Andrea recaptured her outdoor roots with her landing in the fashion business where materials are put to constant test by the elements. She debuted, twenty years old, in Barcellona, designing and producing the fashion line Green Place aimed exclusively at golf enthusiasts. A success which was followed by years of work at the Spanish branch of Marithè & Francois Girbaud, where Andrea reached her professional maturity, destined to explode in Milano.
Within the world fashion capital, Andrea experiments with Progetto Moda, Esprit de Corp, Blow Up, Kalik. Brands which saw her through the years pass from the role of head of knitwear up to total coordination of the style area and production
Among other projects Andrea designed the Daniel’s Spring line – athletic and technical wear for golf – of Golf’ Us, a European chain of specialized stores. With her collaboration with Aero Sekur which produces parachutes and space technology, Andrea begins to approach his personal dream: produce jackets for women moving fast and always stylish. She designs a successful jacket and begins his independent journey that today leads to the brand Folgosa and her Flaying jacket.
